   I have only one problem with this album and that's the rather fruitless track "Memento Mori." I understand what they were trying to do. It's is a peaceful track to rest from the dissonance of the others. But it really isn't that well done, and after listening to the rest of the album, I /5(8).

I wouldn't say it is the best song on the album, but it's the best song to start out with by far. I have only one problem with this album and that's the rather fruitless track "Memento Mori /5(8).

   "The thinking man's mosh" is what This or the Apocalypse likes to call their brand of highly technical hardcore-prog-metal. And after hearing their release, Monuments, you're sure to agree with this musical elcasentcreatlamol.rarenanacczelllyncpoledodalarru.coy influenced by Underoath and Iron Maiden, this Lancaster, PA-based quintet lay it on heavy throughout (save for one brief "time out," "Momento Mori").7/

   “Memento Mori” was enjoyable. It is an instrumental piece with a few screams in the mix. For a band that seems to struggle with writing songs that don’t all sound the same this was a great little idea for the album, maybe if the whole thing was like this it’d seem a lot more polished.

   Memento Mori, this dude can sing and has unique voice. Songs for the Apocalypse is a very well put together metal cd. It has nice clean sound to it yet is down and dirty. It's doom metal with less grunting amd more actual singing/5(2).
