   This collection is part one of two Cd's which memoralize The Bluethings Story vinyl collection, which was issued in the mid-late 80's. This collection pulls material from The group's early days when they were known as The Blue Boys and ends with the group's RCA recordings/5(4).

   I might wrong about it, but this self-titled CD reissue looks to be the Kansas '60's garage band's sole proper album, giving us the lp's original platter + five added bonus cuts. For a very healthy dose of the Blue Things repertoire - be sure to check out their must-have / % essential 'Let The Blue Things Blow Your Mind' 2-CD (see my review) which, I believe has over sixty songs/5(8).

   The Blue Things ' Story, Vol. 2 continues the story and history of the band and Val Stecklein where Vol. 1 left off. This CD compiles some early Blue Things singles, songs from the RCA album omitted from Vol. 1, and unreleased tracks from The CD also features two early pre- Blue Things tracks by Val Stoecklein and the Hi Plains Singers from and four tracks 8/

   This self-titled CD reissue is basically a reissue of their only album (from ), which has been known both as Listen & See and The Blue Things, bolstered by the significant addition of all six songs from their three non-LP RCA singles.

   Mid 60's garage rock group from Hays, KS, USA. Originally called The Blue Boys, they changed their name to The Blue Things in to avoid confusion and potential legal issues with the late Jim Reeves' backing group of the same name.
